[edit]Iapygian (plural Iapygians)
- (historical) A member of an Indo-European-speaking people, dwelling in Iapygia (modern Apulia) in the southeastern Italian Peninsula between the beginning of the first millennium BC and the first century BC. They were divided into three tribes: the Daunians, Peucetians, and Messapians.
