See

[edit]

Incline Beach located on Lakeshore Drive between Village Blvd and Country Club Drive offers one of the most beautiful views found anywhere at Lake Tahoe. Along with picnic tables, barbecues and chaise lounges (provided at no charge by the friendly staff) you'll find a kids playground, sand volleyball courts, concession stand and a roped off swimming area.

Since all the beaches in Incline Village are private and accessible only to residents and lodging guests, you'll need to finagle a guest pass to use the beach. If you don't have friends or relatives who own property in Incline Village that can give you a beach pass, stop by Lakeshore Realty and ask for Don Kanare. He usually keeps an extra beach pass handy that you can borrow to enjoy a day on the beach.

  • 1 Tahoe Science Center, 291 Country Club Drive, +1 775 881 7560, . Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, advance reservation and payment are required. Admission remains free for children 11 and under. The North Tahoe Demonstration Garden just outside and the nearby Eriksson Education Center remain free as well. $5 for general admission, under 12 free.

If you win...

Chances are that, if you win it big in Incline Village and you are not a U.S. citizen your winnings will be subject to a 30% withholding tax from the Internal Revenue Service. That $10,000 slot winning can dwindle quite quickly if that is taken off the top. Not to worry though you can reclaim your gambling winnings tax through a 1042-S form. You should get this from the casino so don't lose it: it is your starting ticket to getting your gambling winnings back.
