About me

[edit | edit source]

Hey, my name is Lachie, I'm 21 years of age and I am a student here at UC studying a double bachelors in Science in Psychology and International Relations and Politics. Despite never thinking I would go to university, a switch-up in my year 12 electives sparked my interest in both the study of psychology and global studies. The idea of continuing to study both is what brought me to UC. I am now currently in my third of four years and while I like studying, look forward to having a break from it once I have graduated.

When I am not committed to my studies, I work at the St Vincent de Paul distribution warehouse here in Canberra as a general hand or am in the various pools around Canberra and Sydney playing water polo. With the very little time I have left after all that, I can enjoy the very best life has to offer such as eating, sleeping, and fighting with my siblings.

I have several aspirations for the future in order to improve the lives of myself and the people around me. My top priority is learning to cook, a particular sore spot as I come from a family of Italians and my signature dish is a toss up between two-minute noodles and vegemite on toast. My SMART goal to measure my progress is to significantly reduce the likelihood of my food giving somebody food poisoning from 65% to 10%. Other goals include remaining swim fit, being a proactive friend and getting eight hours of sleep a night.
