Welcome to my Wikisource page. I joined Wikisource in September 2009, and still continue to contribute to it. I contribute using Mozilla Firefox. If you would like to notify me of a mistake I made on any texts or would like to tell me anything, feel free to either email me or post a message on my talk page. While editing, I take careful looks at spelling and grammar; using Mozilla Firefox's British English, American English, French, Spanish and German dictionaries.
I am most active on this Wiki, although I do contribute on Wikipedia, Wiktionary, and Commons as well. I am a British teenager and nursing student who loves to read Classical Literature, children's horror and animal genre books. Wikisource is my home wiki, and I am an autopatroller on this site.
The best thing about contributing with Wikisource is that I get to contribute and edit with so many people. Also; I seem to learn so many new things here. While in the process of editing texts, I edit the index version as well because they correspond together.
I love to contribute on Wikisource by:
- Fixing transcription projects by undertaking OCR input, Match and Split, Proofreading, and Validating;
- Participating in Proofread of the Month and Collaboration of the Week;
- Completing texts;
- Adding my images from Commons to texts where the copyright has expired (in the United Kingdom: 70 years or less);
- Updating author pages;
- Splitting long novels/pages into chapters or smaller sections;
- Marking pages as patrolled.
- I also now upload DjVu texts from Commons.
