Aradicus77 was blocked in May 2023 for promoting the band Red Krayola, and Greater Manchester IP 92.9.57.106 was blocked at the same time for logged-out editing. Sheffield IP 92.14.107.24 started doing the same thing, and was blocked in July 2023. Soon after that, Sheffield IP 79.79.80.170 started doing the same stuff, and was likewise blocked. The next month, Manchester IP 92.14.106.75 began behaving the same way. When 92.14.106.75 stopped editing in September, the username CBGB 1974 was registered. CBGB 1974 made the same edit as IPs 92.14.107.24 and 92.14.106.75, adding Half Japanese to Noise rock.[1][2][3] The noise rock article had been heavily edited by Aradicus77 and IP 92.9.57.106.
CBGB 1974 appears to have the same conflict of interest. CBGB 1974 cited an interview with Red Krayola co-founder Mayo Thompson one day after the interview was published.[4]
The user interaction is revealing between the two usernames.[5] Both Aradicus77 and CBGB 1974 have a habit of editing Wikipedia most often around 16:00–17:00 UTC.[6][7] The IPs emphasise the same focus.

Check declined by a checkuser - Aradicus77 is stale, and a CU cannot connect a named account to IP addresses.

IP 79.79.80.252 was blocked yesterday for behaving like Aradicus77. Shortly afterward, the username Genesisp-orridge was registered to perform two reverts, restoring text that had been added by IP 79.79.80.252.[8][9]
