Mehmeda

[edit]

Mehmeda (talk · contribs) was blocked by Runcorn (talk · contribs) who believes Mehmeda's contributions indicate that Mehmeda is a sock of indefblocked vandal Antidote (talk · contribs · count · logs · block log · lu · rfa · rfb · arb · rfc · lta · socks confirmedsuspected). I'm reviewing Mehmeda's unblock request and believe a checkuser might validate Runcorn's block; otherwise community block review will have to take place at WP:AN. More case history can be found at Mehmeda's talk. Sandstein 22:31, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additional information needed Both accounts last edited in 2006 and are too old to be checked. Do you know any confirmed sockpupet account that has edited in the last month? -- lucasbfr talk 23:28, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Try usedup (talk · contribs). IPs may be in the ranges 141.211.*.* or 141.213.*.* --Runcorn 23:47, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Two things to make clear that haven't been made clear before. Lucasbfr is asking for a confirmed sockpuppet of Antidote that has edited within the last month, not a suspected sockpuppet. You'd need to confirm that usedup (talk · contribs) is a sockpuppet of Antidote before you can confirm I am one through somebody else. Secondly, this isn't a community ban, so if this does move to WP:AN, you couldn't call it that. Only Runcorn blocked this username. Hi, this is User:Mehmeda. I'm allowed to comment on these proceedings given most people are blocked AFTER this type of evidence and not before. See USER TALK:Mehmeda for details.
Also this isn't a case letter F because User:Antidote wasn't community banned. Actually maybe he was, but you would need to provide a diff of the community ban. The account was only blocked by User:Runcorn [1] not by a community consensus of any sort. Mehmeda2 00:48, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, the last RFCU says that Antidote's IP range is bellsouth, so why are people checking the Midwestern 141. ranges? There was already a IP range block enforced by User:Runcorn that blocked a huge amount of people from editing wikipedia (the 141. range covers up to 5 universities) and for no other reason than "sockpuppet." Maybe you should get more proof before range blocking legitimate users again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.94.128.106 (talkcontribs)

Antidote

[edit]

User has started doing exactly the same things complained about in a previous RFC here Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Antidote, removing people from Jewish lists, removing Jewish categories from peoples articles or information that says they were Jewish, edit warring on population numbers, and using hostile edit summaries. Arniep 13:55, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: All these IP's are Bell South. The use of Bell South IPs is also noted in the above-referenced RFC. Thatcher131 14:09, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

 Likely. Essjay (TalkConnect) 08:30, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you elaborate somewhat? Have any of these exact ips used by one or both of these accounts, if so, how many? Arniep 22:12, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
