Unknown music video

[edit]

In around 2000 there was a video for a nu metal song on kerrang with the singer shown floating around outside and then inside a house, any suggestions of what this might have been? --91.103.185.230 (talk) 13:18, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A little more information would be helpful. Was the singer male or female? Was the video in color or black and white? 10draftsdeep (talk) 20:39, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It was in colour and it was a man, he had dark hair. I can't remember much detail but I think when he was inside the house he was floating sort of horizontally much like a sky dive in the kitchen perhaps. Thanks for trying dude. --92.11.205.68 (talk) 00:57, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It sounds familiar to me, but I can't seem to place it yet.10draftsdeep (talk) 13:31, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Keep racking your brain man, I have been for years and had no luck :( --91.103.185.230 (talk) 13:37, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The year is wrong and it's not heavy metal, but there is so much floating in and around a house in this Talking Heads clip that I feel I should mention it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.171.56.13 (talk) 17:15, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Groucho Marx at desk covered with nuts?

[edit]

Can anyone identify a scene from a Marx Bros. film in which Groucho is sitting at a desk cracking nuts, the desk covered with nuts and shells? TIA. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Italtrav (talkcontribs) 20:55, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's either Duck Soup or Horse Feathers. I'll see if I can find it on youtube. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:13, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's Horse Feathers, about two minutes into this clip:[1] The somewhat similar scene from Duck Soup I was thinking of, he's playing jacks before starting a cabinet meeting. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:32, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
God, I love that "waxing wroth" gag. Deor (talk) 01:20, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's certainly not "a common expression you hear every day". :) ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:40, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
