Rock drum (talk · contribs · count) I've been on Wikipedia since late October last year. I'm an active member of several WikiProjects. I'm currently working on becoming a writer for the Wikipedia Signpost. Rock drum (talk·contribs·guestbook) 17:27, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. What are your primary contributions to Wikipedia? Are there any about which you are particularly pleased? Why?
Most of my article space edits are to do with Children's literature or music. In Wikipedia space, you'll mainly find me on my WikiProjects or the Wikipedia Signpost.
  2. Have you been in any disputes over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I havn't been in any real edit disputes. I got into a pretty tiny one on Template:CHERUB with RTY1998 a while back.

Reviews

  • I think most of your edits seem fine. You work very little in article space, but I guess that's OK. The only think that suprised me was Book:Scouting_for_Girls. A Wikipedia book about a rock band that's essentially a one hit wonder, which doesn't actually make much of a book at all? It's just articles about the bands albums and singles, all quite unsourced. It strikes me as an experiment or test, and should probably be moved to user space. Everything else is fine as far as I can see, you are clearly a useful contributor. Keep it up! --OpenFuture (talk) 11:05, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for reviewing me. I've tried to make a lot of edits in article space but I also quite enjoy working on projects, too. My main worry about moving the book is that it's tagged by a WikiProject (WikiProject Scouting for Girls) who, I presume, will not want to tag a book in userspace. Should I remove the tag? Well you can discuss it with other people more involved in Wikipedia Books than I am, but I think so. --OpenFuture (talk) 12:35, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
