- Delete I agree, with Jionakeli seems to be a news item which fails WP:LASTING. Jionakeli Deathlibrarian (talk) 07:11, 7 November 2017 (UTC)

- Merge to Kaliganj (community development block) per WP:ATD-M. The suggested merge target article has no mention of this matter, and a merge will improve it. North America1000 11:36, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
Mergeto Kaliganj (community development block) . A few sources have reported or mentioned the incident with new details.[1] (page 38)[2][3][4][5][6] If there is any modification in future, we can rebuild the article but for now a merge would be a fair compromise. - Changing to Keep per comments below by Marvellous Spider-Man. And the above sources that I have linked also confirms the discussion of the subject even after a year of the riot. Raymond3023 (talk) 17:32, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Your sources are not only unreliable but heavily biased and were busted for faking[7],[8]. Jionakeli (talk) 14:17, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
- "sources"? Your 2 links are from one website targets only one link, but I had linked 6 sources. My point was to show the prevalence of this subject. Raymond3023 (talk) 14:44, 9 November 2017 (UTC)

- Keep There are confirmed deaths of 4 people, and this is part of communal riots in India. And there are sources in vernacular language also.
- This particular source is not news. Kolkata, May 7: The scale of devastation at the Kaliganj block in West Bengal's Nadia district tells a sorry tale. It has been probably one of the worst communal riots in recent times. Some editors use WP:NOTNEWS to nominate articles they don't like, at AFD due to their political and religious bias. Marvellous Spider-Man 16:44, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Comment Faking News is not a reliable source to write articles in Wikipedia, but they had published a satire article on this riot. Marvellous Spider-Man 17:11, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Keep Article needs improvement, but WP:SIGCOV in national sources validate notability.E.M.Gregory (talk) 18:16, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
- Keep due to the sources provided here. WP:NOTNEWS is not a issue here for a long time now. Capitals00 (talk) 03:53, 8 November 2017 (UTC)
- Keep per above. —MBL Talk 06:40, 10 November 2017 (UTC)
