Seth MR Jaipuria School Lucknow moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Seth MR Jaipuria School Lucknow, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – Pbrks (t • c) 22:53, 7 March 2022 (UTC)

Reverting Edits
[edit]This discussion is best conduted on the article talk page but I am making a note here. Your edits were reverted. According to WP:BRD you should take the discussion about the flag icons and other content you added to the article talk page NOT manually revert my revert to get round and notifications. Please go to the talk page of List of tallest statues to discuss your edits and the issue around 'Birth of the New World'. I have commented on my talk page to your post but from now on will only comment on the article talk page. Please follow Wikipedia protocols. Thanks Robynthehode (talk) 10:13, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
- Sorry for that, "Birth of the New World" is not an addition by me, I just added a suitable image. Xoocit (talk) 10:33, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Test Draft
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Test Draft requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.cisce.org/pdf/ISC-Class-XII-Syllabus-2020/20%20%20ISC%20Biology.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. S Philbrick(Talk) 19:54, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- I was testing a wikipedia feature, that's why I used copypasta, I'll delete any other test draft page next time. Xoocit (talk) 16:39, 23 May 2022 (UTC)
Alert about discretionary sanctions
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Disambiguation link notification for July 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Lucknow, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Band and Athletics. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:12, 17 July 2022 (UTC)

Amsterdam Marathon
[edit]I noticed that you've added content to the artice Amsterdam Marathon without source information. I would encourage you to always add a source when you add new information. And I also noticed that you incorrectly marked this edit as minor. Please see Help:Minor edit for an explanation on what minor edits are. – Editør (talk) 14:13, 30 October 2024 (UTC)
- Didn't think a source was needed since the page already mentions the sponser in the infobox and since the sponser is already mentioned I also didn't think of any potential disputes that could be caused by the edit as it was done to standarize it along the lines of more popular marathon pages such as New York City Marathon hence the formatting correction edit should be a minor edit in my opinion. [edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. - Ratnahastin (talk) 13:06, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- The intention was to reduce the issues on the section, the section would be better read as a prose rather than with bullet points, moreover the section also contains citations from biased sources which are known to use categorization for the organization which have previously been dismissed as untrue, if you object to removing the issues listed in the issue template then I am fine either way. My motive was to make the content more clear and improve readability, the longer form bullet points are not the best way to summarize the incident, they give undue weightage to the incidents which are isolated but have a larger contribution in the article than they do in real life.
- I suggested for starting a TP discussion with the other editor which was ignored, I started a discussion myself which was also ignored the same editor. Xoocit (talk) 15:20, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on List of converts to Islam from Hinduism. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - Ratnahastin (talk) 16:10, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reasons given for the removal of the content are not valid, moreover I have improved upon the sources earlier used to incorporate better sources, please check the changes made before threating me on my TP. Xoocit (talk) 16:14, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

- Stop using sources for historical information that fail WP:HISTRS. Read WP:BLPCAT and don't add the name of the living people who haven't admitted their conversion. Similarly, you need to stop adding those names that have already left Islam. - Ratnahastin (talk) 16:19, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Never sourced any historical information, Government of India sources are reliable for situations relating to Indian History, the content removed by you and the other editor includes people who have publically accepted their conversion thereby fulfilling WP:BLPCAT's requirement, other than that, the sources used (Indian Express) are considered reliable by concensus on WP:RS/PS. This topic might be good to discussion and dispute on a case-by-case basis on their article's talk page, rather than reverting back and forth reverting my edits. Xoocit (talk) 16:25, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- "Government of India" is not a WP:HISTRS. You are not in the position to claim that those "people who have publically accepted their conversion thereby fulfilling WP:BLPCAT's requirement". The person in the question is required to say that instead. - Ratnahastin (talk) 16:38, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
- Never have I said, nor did I say that I am in a position, people do not publish news articles, mass-media companies do, and they are sourced from those the said people, some of those citations include interviews of people who have accepted their conversions, again saying that his might be better taken case-by-case rather than you threating me on my TP.
- Pardon my ignorance but I have never used any sources outside of those that have been in place already on the wiki, all my sources were sourced from articles of those people, I did not crosscheck those sources as they've already been used on those people's page hence they were assumed to be reliable, thank you for noticing, you are welcome to removing those sources and all references of those claims of conversions by going on their articles and correcting editors who introduced them into the wiki in the first palce.
