Hello
[edit]Leave a message on this talk page if you have any concerns. Thanks!
The file File:KTVT morning newscast title card.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non-free screenshot of a former newscast title card being used in a decorative manner in KTVT#News operation. There is no sourced critical commentary specifically related to this particular screenshot; so, the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is not really being provided. There's no need to for non-free screenshots of former newscast opens to be used just to show what it looked like, unless there was something unique or particular to it which was discussed by reliable sources at the time.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Marchjuly (talk) 19:10, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
Continued unsourced changes
[edit]StephenCezar, I had really hoped that you would return from your block determined to follow Wikipedia's policies regarding verifiability and sourcing. This edit, where you wrote "I'll provide a source later" in your edit summary, is more of the same. You absolutely must start using reliable sources when adding and changing such content. If you are using your own personal knowledge or understanding to change content, it is considered original research. --Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:42, 9 October 2018 (UTC)
- Hey. I would like to find a reliable source for my edit, but I need more time. Thank you for leaving a message on my page about your concern. I need to leave my concerns however. I don't like how you approach me whenever you have a concern about me. The other day I felt that you were attacking my character (I acted in bad faith and I admit that, but that's what stress does to you). Now I'm trying to do better, and this comment right here: "I had really hoped that you would return from your block determined to follow Wikipedia's policies regarding verfiability and sourcing." is one that doesn't really needed to be said. I'm not trying to fight with you right now. I'm just letting you know how I feel so I can better approach you in a congenial manner. StephenCezar15 (talk)
- I appreciate that you are making an effort to edit in accordance with Wikipedia policies. I disagree that noting that the same concerns that led to your original block are still occurring "doesn't really needed to be said". As the blocking admin, it does need to be said that sourcing issues are still occurring. How fair would it be to be reblocked out of the blue, with no discussion or chance to improve? Regarding the Wonder Years edit specifically, please find your source and then add your content. Wikipedia articles have no deadline and it's imperative to its credibility that the information is both accurate and verifiable. You have the opportunity to work towards that goal through the use of reliable sources.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 16:04, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
- I see your point now. Thank you for clarifying. StephenCezar15 (talk)

Where's the Reference/Source for John Williams?
[edit]Please show a reference for John Williams' contribution as composer of "The Killers" underscore.
The Wikipedia article on "The Killers" does not have one!
Maybe his credit should be removed.
Somebody said: "Needs a source. Cannot leave it on here if it's not sourced."
2600:1700:3BC0:E70:7950:71C2:3355:C5E8 (talk) 17:58, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- If that's the case, then all credits should be removed. John Williams is credited on the film's poster, but not Henry Mancini.
There's no mention of Williams on the poster that's shown in the article.
Why have you gone off on this "crusade" for such a trivial issue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:3BC0:E70:7950:71C2:3355:C5E8 (talk) 18:46, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Drew Brees, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Eagles 24/7 (C) 15:13, 3 November 2019 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:DC comics logo 2012.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:DC comics logo 2012.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 25 September 2024 (UTC)
