This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of List of Hawaii Five-0 characters, and it appears to include material copied directly from https://mckonoglimpse.wordpress.com/bios/steve-mcgarrett/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. A tag has been placed on List of Hawaii Five-0 characters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from mckonoglimpse.wordpress.com/bios/steve-mcgarrett. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page List of Hawaii Five-0 characters has been reverted.
Your edit here to List of Hawaii Five-0 characters was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://hawaiifiveo.wikia.com/wiki/Aloha_ke_kahi_I_ke_kahi_(episode), http://hawaiifiveo.wikia.com/wiki/Ua_Lawe_Wale_(episode), http://hawaiifiveo.wikia.com/wiki/I_Helu_Pu_(episode)) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to an external Wiki, then please note that these links should generally not be included (see 'links to avoid' #12).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, SpongePete2P. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from The L Word into The L Word (season 3). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:10, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lauren Compton requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". The article Kathy DiStefano has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NCIS: Los Angeles (season 9)

[edit]

Please do not recreate NCIS: Los Angeles (season 9) without providing substantially more sourced content than just a premiere date. With only the premiere date, WP:TVUPCOMING applies, as I earlier indicated. A note can be included in the lead of List of NCIS: Los Angeles episodes but no other content (rows in the series overview table or a section for the season) should be created. Please also note that when sections are eventually added, years are not included in section headings until episodes are aired in that year. You can read more on this in WP:TVUPCOMING and WP:TVOVERVIEW. --AussieLegend () 03:12, 23 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Reception sections

[edit]

Please don't add unsourced sections where you give your own personal analysis of a film or television show's reception. This should be cited to reliable sources and avoid interpretation. For example, you might quote the "critical consensus" at Rotten Tomatoes. RT gives a summary of what they believe the film's reception was, and, by quoting this, you avoid the problem of original research and synthesis. Speedy deletion nomination of The L Word (season 5)

[edit]

Hi, I'm Boleyn. SpongePete2P, thanks for creating NCIS: Los Angeles (season 9)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to create this - it's appreciated. It's now been reviewed and has had some improvement tags added. If you have the time, could you look it over and see if you can help address any of the issues raised in the tags? Thanks again for your hard work.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to SEAL Team (TV series) does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary.
Note: I noticed you hadn't left an edit summary explaining why you removed a significant amount of content (23,000 bytes) from this article, but a further look at your contribs and it appears you have never attached a summary to any of the edits you've made since you joined WP. Please add a summary to every edit you make, going forward. Thank you

Notice

The article Lauren Compton (actress) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. reddogsix (talk) 23:20, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting articles

[edit]

Please note that there is a standing wide consensus not to split episode lists off from main TV series articles until there are at least two seasons. Some TV series require even more episodes and some are never split. The guidance on this is primarily in WP:SIZESPLIT. (note that "readable prose" is not the same as "file size"). When splitting, appropriate attribution is mandatory as this deals with copyright. Improperly attributing splits is a copyright violation. This issue has been discussed at length, if you need further information I suggest that you open a thread at WT:TV. --AussieLegend () 06:28, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

never made an edit summary. You latest edit has been reverted as vandalism. Splitting articles, again

[edit]

You were already notified above splitting single season tv series articles. You did it, you were reverted... why do it again? ([1] [2]) You need to start abiding the policies & guidelines here, along with standing consensus and community expectations. For example, you have yet to add a single edit summary since you joined, and you really should start communicating more on article and user talk pages. This is a collaborative project... - theWOLFchild 02:39, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Why are you converting the ratings table at SEAL Team (TV series) from using the template to the old style raw code with inappropriate colouring? Your unexplained change two days ago was reverted and yet you've made the same change again, and again without any attempt to explain why you are making these changes. If your edits are reverted you need to explain yourself. Now that it's happened twice you really need to address this on the talk page before making any more changes. --AussieLegend () 16:19, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@AussieLegend: I wouldn't expect much in way of a response. They communicate very rarely and when they do, they say very little (perhaps ESL is an issue?) There are on-going problems here that are not being addressed. Perhaps ANI is needed? - theWOLFchild 18:32, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Person of Interest Season Articles

[edit]

Hi there. While doing new page patrol I see you made several seasons of Person of Interest into their own articles. They had enough content that I marked them as "patrolled" but really there should be some coverage beyond just episode listings on these pages. Things like critical reception or ratings coverage. Absent this someone would be justified in redirecting back to the list of episodes page. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 17:37, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It's also a requirement that attribution be provided when articles are split as explained at WP:CWW. Splitting without attribution constitutes a copyright violation. Accordingly, all of the articles, which were all split improperly, have been redirected again. Splitting requires far more than just copying content to another article. As has previously been requested of you, you really need to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines before splitting more articles. --AussieLegend () 18:01, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ohh... Honestly, I should put my wiki contribute on hold for a while.--SpongePete2P () 19:36, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you should consider Wikipedia's Mentor Program and the Wikipedia Adoption Program. You could get some help with your editing and become a more effective contributor. Just a suggestion. - theWOLFchild 22:13, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at SEAL Team (TV series), you may be blocked from editing. AussieLegend () 17:59, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I am NOT trying to disrupt Wikipedia, I'm trying to make room for the SEAL Team (TV series). I don't like that page is crowded up. - SpongePete2P () 17:59, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The warning above was about replacing the ratings table template with raw table code, which you have done more than once now. It was nothing to do with making space. --AussieLegend () 04:00, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It was clearly explained to you above that splitting articles requires that proper attribution be provided and yet you have just split content from SEAL Team (TV series) without any attempt to provide that attribution. There have been several warnings about splitting content and yet you continue to do so without any attempt to split content in accordance with our policies and guidelines. Do not do so again. --AussieLegend () 03:58, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@AussieLegend: Well, despite the warnings, they are certainly a fan of your signature... copied it exactly. Anyway, like I said before, perhaps an ANI is needed. I have suggested mentoring, maybe an ANI will help get it started.
@SpongePete2P - I have suggested to you before and I will strongly suggest it again; seek a mentor and/or adopter to help guide you and prevent you from disrupting the project further. Otherwise, there is a possibility that you may end up blocked for persistent disruption and an inability to contribute effectively. (And copying the guy's sig exactly? Why not create your own?) Like I said... just suggestions. - theWOLFchild 13:27, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SEAL Team... again

[edit]

Why did you revert the redirect back to a "season 1" episode list/ article when a) the list (and everything else) for season 1 is still on the main SEAL Team (TV series) page and, b) you were already advised (how many times) not to do so? This was clearly spelled out for you, just above by AussieLegend, at "Splitting articles" and again at "Splitting articles, again".

Stop. Ask for help on the talk page before making any changes. And, again... please consider getting a mentor or adoption. Thank you - wolf 02:26, 2 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think you could block me from making anymore ridiculous pages for a while? I would appreciate that.SP 2 September 2018 (UTC)
A block? Why can't you just not make these edits? And why don't you try the mentoring program I suggested? I think that would be a wiser option than a block. Anyway, if that is your choice, then so be it. But I can't block you, as you need an admin to do that. You can find a list of admins willing to block here. Contact one of them. - wolf 04:06, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • If you would rather be blocked than actually take any good faith steps whatsoever to change your editing behavior, then fine, but that is in itself indicative of a serious problem, so you're not just getting off with a temporary self-block and no other resolution. You're blocked indefinitely for disruptive editing; if you wish to respond constructively, and detail what specific changes you're going to make address the problems with your editing, you can detail that in a suitable unblock request. For information on how to submit a suitable unblock request, see WP:GAB. Swarm 22:25, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

First off; I want to apologize for my repulsive editing. I've hadn't had much luck trying to make good wikipedia pages lately. SpongePete2P () 06:37, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anyway for me to delete my account? Please let me know.SpongePete2P () 06:37, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SP2P, you can't delete your account, but as a courtesy, I can blank your user talk page. It will still be saved in the page history. If you wish to return to editing, you still have to post an unblock request. Review the comments here, (you can look them up in the history), and read WP:GAB before posting, to write the best unblock request you can. Just remember, if you want to edit again, anything, it must be with this account, and only if you can get it unblocked. Editing with any other account or as an IP is not permitted. There is no guarantee you will be unblocked, but it doesn't appear you wanted to return anyway. Either way, good luck to in your future endeavors. - wolf 06:26, 14 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
BTW - did you want your talk page blanked? You can do that if you like, on your own. What I probably didnt make clear before was if in the event that you were to lose talk page access, would you want your page blanked then? - wolf 04:04, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Since you're now asking for your talk access to be taken away, you might want to either blank your page, or leave a state that you'd like that done in the event you lose access, since that is the closest you can get to deleting your account. FYI- wolf 01:16, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Black Ops 4

[edit]

Can someone add in the sales segment for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, please? SpongePete2P () 06:37, 23 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No can do, Pete. Per Wikipedia:PROXYING, that is not permitted. You can either try to get unblocked and add it yourself, or wait until someone else does it of their volition. - wolf 03:56, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Added note; blocked users have access to their talk page so that they can try to get unlocked, not so that they can article edits by remote-control. Posting such requests, like the one you have here, is not a good idea as it may lead to an admin revoking your talk page access. FYI - wolf 03:59, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Okay. Noted. Honestly, I would prefer an admin revoked my talk page access.- SP2P 03:59, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Seriously? Why don't you just not edit...? But, if you want your tp access revoked, you can always WP:PING one of the admins at Category:Wikipedia administrators willing to consider placing self-requested blocks, or you can try Swarm since he's the one that blocked you in the first place. - wolf 01:11, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I will revoke your talk page access if that's really what you want, but I don't know why you don't just request an unblock. You understand that you can do that, right? We even have a page that tells you what to do. If you'd rather just "erase" your account, you have the "right to vanish", and I will help you vanish your account instead if that's what you want. You don't have to permanently leave Wikipedia if you don't want to. Let me know.  Swarm  talk  02:09, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
