Cardiology (album)
[edit]Hello, MusicforthePeople. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Cardiology (album) at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Cheers, Baffle☿gab 04:47, 11 January 2020 (UTC) |
- Hi Yeepsi, in the section 'Charts and certifications', I noticed an undefined citation for the Canadian chart (ref name "Canchart"). That might not be a problem for your planned GA nom but they'll probably want it fixed anyway. Good luck with your planned nom. Cheers, Baffle☿gab 04:47, 11 January 2020 (UTC)

New year, new me, and a goodbye for now.
[edit]Yeepsi. Probably my favorite editor. The emo / post-hardcore WikiProject owes its existence to you. You're a citation wizard. Many, many solid articles have been created and promoted thanks to your work, and I've discovered countless new bands to listen to and enjoy thanks to your hard work (Thursday, Mayday Parade, ADTR, Saves the Day, and the list goes on). I've had the pleasure of reviewing several of your articles, and even more touching up favorites of mine that you started.
With all my GANs and GA reviews now completed, however, I've decided I need to step away from Wikipedia, with all the reasons listed there. This time it'll be for actual good (at least for a long time, and I may not ever return as a regular but we'll see), I attempted that once. I've felt that I've been a bit more of an annoyance to other editors, and sooner or later, I'm probably going to wear out my welcome if I continue anyway, as I'm meeting more and more who I come into regular conflict with. Thank you for being among my favorite Wikipedians, happy new decade, and good luck with all you do. dannymusiceditor oops 16:43, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
- I appreciate the kind words! It's been fun working with you Danny, whether it's reviewing articles of mine and/or general editing. Best wishes for the new year, new decade and your hiatus. Hope to work with you again in the future. Yeepsi (talk) 11:51, 12 January 2020 (UTC)

Burning at Both Ends
[edit]Hello:
The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Burning at Both Ends has been completed.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
One minor point I'll draw to your attention. In the Composition section the article reads: "Calaveras" is written by drummer Mikey Ambrose... In the Track Listing section it says "except "Calaveras" by Set Your Goals". There should be agreement in both mentions.
Best of luck with the GAN.

popping in amid the craziness
[edit]Just wanted to say hello and that I had no idea you loved Britpop and all that 90s jazz as much as you do until now. It's been a couple months, and the world is desperately trying to give me reasons to come back here, but I shall not yet officially. It is not yet time.
But one important thing from me - I'd like to thank you for getting me into the Bluetones. They're fantastic, and are better than a lot of the Britpop that I've encountered in which they sound much more genuinely alternative rock rather than just being Britishly quirky for the sake of being Britishly quirky and happy to defy grunge. Anyway, if it weren't for you Tweeting about them I'd have never learned about these chaps.
"Cheers" from an American and hope you're staying safe from the virus, a certain user in hiding who follows you on Twitter using IP 2607:FCC8:9E82:2A00:C05F:7757:6F9B:2C8E (talk) 14:47, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
(P.S. if you have any doubt that it's me you can always just email me )
- Oh yeah! I would be making GAs (or at the very least Cs) out of Expecting to Fly, Going Blank Again, Free Peace Sweet etc. if I had 25–30 year old copies of NME, Melody Maker et al. like I've been doing with pop punk/PHC these past few years. Yeepsi (talk) 15:31, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- I might be able to arrange that sometime. Don't know when, maybe after my school semester ends. University is insane with COVID. And I work at a grocery mart. 2607:FCC8:9E82:2A00:C05F:7757:6F9B:2C8E (talk) 15:45, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- That'd be awesome; yeah, no worries, it's totally understandable with everything going on lately. Yeepsi (talk) 16:18, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
