Topics?
[edit]Hi! Please put up 2 or 3 page ideas (either here or on your user page main space) that you would like to start working on, along with a short justification for why they deserve your hard work. Thanks! Daclausen (talk) 15:17, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
1. Civil War in Syria; I want to write about this because it is a very important issue right now and it has affected the lives of millions of people. What made the current situation worse is the Russian intervention. I think such intervention is fatal to Syrians who are fighting against the Assad's regimen. There is also the refugee crisis.
2. Gun control; I want to talk about this because recent shooting incidents have raised the proposal of gun control again. I would like to examine the psychological role as well.
Hi! Your topics look very important to the world of Wikipedia...just be careful on the Gun Control page to watch you phrasing while trying to maintain NPOV, especially because that is a very controversial topic. Good luck! Ahouston5 (talk) 20:09, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
Hello! Your topics both sound very interesting and are obviously important in today's culture. Unfortunately, I'm afraid those will be two very controversial topics to edit. I think it might be better to edit pages that receive a little less attention. However, if you feel really strongly about these, go for it. Just be prepared for a battle. - I think that you have chosen two very relevant and fierce issues in the world and our country right now. I think since both of these issues are very important to you it would be important to work on neutrality and showing both sides of the issue. I do think the articles will be great and very insightful because of your knowledge on the subject, as well as your passion. Speedy deletion nomination of Switching Frequency
[edit]Hello Maltuwaijeri,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Switching Frequency for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 19:56, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
