No Consensus on Article Hannah Ryder

[edit]

I created this article and watched it nominated, reedited to suit the NPOV Notability policy,. but that was not enough for the closure to Keep . one of the discussant in the Relist discussions hammered on the article improvements. I am confused about this No Consensus closure and where it leaves the article? Gold Junior (talk) 05:28, 5 June 2024 (UTC) Gold Junior (talk) 06:10, 5 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources

[edit]

Hi, my draft has been declines because of no reliable sources. Out of 5 sources one is Stanford University .edu, one is official government .gov, one is a published book, the other is the official website and an iHeart radio interview. Can you please elaborate why the first three are not reliable? SRGKWestCoast (talk) 18:26, 19 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the detailed feedback on the draft titled Draft:Vaibhav_Palhade. I have carefully reviewed the comments and have made substantial revisions to address the concerns raised.

1. Enhanced Notability: I have added additional references that provide significant coverage of Vaibhav Palhade in published, reliable, secondary sources independent of the subject. These new sources better demonstrate his notability and impact.

2. Updated References: The references have been thoroughly reviewed and updated to ensure they meet Wikipedia's guidelines for reliability and independence. I have included sources that offer more in-depth coverage of his work and achievements.

3. Adhered to Guidelines: I have ensured that the draft aligns with the notability guidelines and other relevant Wikipedia policies.

I believe these changes address the issues raised in the previous review. Please consider the updated draft for resubmission. Thank you for your assistance and guidance.

Subject: Seeking Guidance on Writing About a Talented Software Engineer

Message:

Dear Maliner,

I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out to seek your guidance on writing an article about a close friend of mine who is an exceptionally talented software engineer. He has made significant contributions in his field, and I want to highlight his achievements and skills effectively.

Could you please advise me on the best approach to structure the article? Specifically, I'm interested in understanding how to:

1 Start with an engaging introduction that captures his essence.
2 Highlight his key achievements and projects.
3 Convey his impact on the industry or community.
4 Balance technical details with readability for a broader audience.

Your insights would be greatly appreciated as I want to do justice to his talents through my writing.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards, Asad Ali --AsadAli Official (talk) 10:20, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from SombraGal (23:59, 23 August 2024)

[edit]

Hi There! I have been using Wikipedia for a few years now, and have discovered gaps in articles that I researched elsewhere, but never figured out how to edit. Finally found my way here!

In the simplest terms, if I find info about a subject on a reliable web page, how do I insert the info and the link into the Wikipedia article?

ALSO, how does Wikipedia review/confirm any changes I make?

Thanks! --SombraGal (talk) 23:59, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
