Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Varitalk. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Oli Filth 01:33, 18 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Mercedes Homes, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.mercedeshomes.com/about/index.shtml. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. A tag has been placed on Mercedes Homes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

copyright violation, spam

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Dawn bard (talk) 14:13, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, much of the content of the webpage is taken from our website, MercedesHomes.com. I'm the Director of eBusiness for Mercedes Homes and wrote the copy on the website and on the article submission. There are no issues with the copywrite. Feel free to confirm and/or call me with any questions or problems.

Wikipedia isn't a place for advertising (see Wikipedia:Spam#Advertisements masquerading as articles).   jj137 19:29, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I realize this, but all our competition and many other companies have listings, what are we doing wrong?

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 20:05, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I created a basic stub for it; if there are any mistakes, just correct them. If you are going to expand the article, don't put anything about products, prices, etc., or anything that could be taken as an ad, as it would be deleted as spam. Also, don't put anything directly word-for-word from your site; then it will be deleted for copyright violation. Hope this helps.   jj137 20:16, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Boatflorida.com requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. shoy (reactions) 02:51, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Boatflorida.com. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Tire Kingdom, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.tirekingdom.com/Tire-Kingdom-History.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) A tag has been placed on Tire Kingdom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
