Just curious

I was curious about the reference you added to the Scythians article, and looking here, I don't see anything about the Scythians. In fact, the only mention of Scythia I could find was in a footnote on page 609. Looking farther, I did find that the second volume does mention the Scythians slightly more often. However, this appears to be the only part of the book that connects the Scythians with Northern India, but it is not so much about the Scythians coming from there as it is pushing Godfrey Higgins's work (whose views are not supported by modern scholarship).
