[edit]Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at New York Mets, you may be blocked from editing. The Mets did not win the NL East regular season division title in 2024. Please stop adding this incorrect information. --Kinu t/c 23:23, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- The Mets Won Division series and are heading to the NL Championship thus they won the NL East Pennant as the NL east is the series between the Phillies and the Mets just because Phillies won a by into the the NLDS does not make them Pennant winners Pennant comes from winning the series as The Mets beat the Phillies they NL East Pennant winners. Also I sited a source. Jdb443 (talk) 00:54, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Also I cited sources. Also when I edited It was listed as NL East Division Pennant and not NL East Division title based on how it is not the page is now correct. My edits were not meant to vandalize but to factually display accurate information. As for the most part I am always able to cite sources. Jdb443 (talk) 01:31, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Per your comment on my talk page, you are not blocked or banned. A warning is simply that.
- To elaborate further, the "OTHER PENNANTS" field in the infobox is for, well, other pennants, and has nothing to do with the "Division Champs" field underneath it (see the documentation for Template:Infobox MLB). Likewise, there is nothing to support the claim that a team gets a pennant for winning an LDS (they don't) or that beating a division rival in the postseason grants them regular season division title (it does not, as that would be ludicrous). Any claim that either of these is true is egregiously misrepresenting the source you provided. As you've been reverted multiple times by multiple editors for this, please drop the stick. --Kinu t/c 03:17, 11 October 2024 (UTC)
- Again I am sorry. I realize i'm wrong now. I totally intend to drop the stick. I just wanted confirmation if I am blocked from editing pages I was previously allowed or what would be required to get my status back or if all hope is lost? Again I am totally sorry. Thank you.
