Mens Rea

[edit]

I really think my band, Mens Rea, means something to people, so I think we do deserve a wikipedia page, at least as "Mens Rea Band". It was for a reason that I didn't edit "Mens Rea", but reather opened a new page for Mens Rea Band, as the latin term that was the inspiration for the band's name is, for the moment, more known to public than our band. I've put a lot of effort in writing the article and editing it (Till I couldn't do it anymore sisnce it was deleted), so I'd like to know why it was deleted, and to ask you to please let us have a value here

I just wanted you to see the new article with an entry at WP:AFD, and wondered if you think notability is now established? (Mind meal (talk) 07:12, 13 February 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Economy of Ohio

[edit]
Updated DYK query On 20 February, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Economy of Ohio, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Rollback

[edit]

I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. –Juliancolton Tropical Cyclone 02:07, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I am looking forward to working with you. If it makes a difference, my availability will be limited during the Passover holiday, but I should be back to normal on 4/20. Thank you again. -- Avi (talk) 15:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking the case. Good to see someone who's been on a similar case before, and successfully mediating it, taking this one. --Lhakthong (talk) 16:53, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kansas v. Colorado

[edit]

Hi. :) Kansas v. Colorado came due for investigation at CP today, and I see that you removed the tag. Since you didn't explain why in your edit summary, I'm uncertain of your reason. Since it relates to a Supreme Court case and Supreme Court documents are not protected by copyright, I've presumed that you might have removed it because the material is PD. I've tried to verify that the text represents a PD summary of the case, but so far I've only been able to find it at Duke Law. I don't see a licensing release at Duke Law or indication there that the summary was copied from a PD source. I've restored the copyvio tag, just until I could find out from you your rationale. I'll be watching your page and the article. Since you don't seem to edit routinely, I think I'll also ask for feedback from the law wikiproject so that the material doesn't remain blanked unnecessarily. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:10, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

could i get you opinion

Just wondering if I could get you opinion on something Talk:Manchester mayoral election, 2009 (New Hampshire) is where the discussion is. WikiProject Economics census

[edit]

Hello there. Sorry to bother you, but you are (titularly at least) a member of WP:WikiProject Economics, as defined by this category. If you don't know me, I'm a Wikipedia administrator, but an unqualified economist. I enjoy writing about economics, but I'm not very good at it, which is why I would like to support in any way I can the strong body of economists here on Wikipedia. I'm only bothering you because you are probably one of them. Together, I'd like us to establish the future direction of WikiProject Economics, but first, we need to know who we've got to help.

Whatever your area of expertise or level of qualification, if you're interested in helping with the WikiProject (even if only as part of a larger commitment to this wonderful online encyclopedia of ours), would you mind adding your signature to this page? It only takes a second. Thank you.

prod of Gooooo(however-many-ooos)gle

[edit]

Hi - I've left your prod tag on the article, but I've also tagged it as WP:CSD#G3 as blatant vandalism. He's created more than one page like this; he's a suspected sockpuppet (the link to the SPI is on his talk page) and he's causing disruption everywhere he can. I've given a final warning, so if you see him disrupt the encyclopedia and/or create a new page like this, tag it as G3 and report him at WP:AIV. I'll be around for a while tonight too. Thanks for your vigilance and good work! :-) KrakatoaKatie 02:24, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GALVESTON STINGRAYS

GALVESTON STINGRAYS SEND ME AN EMAIL I WILL SEND YOU THE AGREEMENT TO PROVE IT TO YOU

Ncfirefighter13 I completely believe you. However, that is not the standard for publishing an article. As noted at WP:V and WP:NOR, readers must be able to verify the statements in published, credible sources. Jd027 (talk) 03:00, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • You should just come back in 5 days when it's announced. Or if you got the Galveston newspaper to write an article about it beforehand, that would work as well. Jd027 (talk) 03:01, 25 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here
