ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
[edit]The article St. Thomas Catholic Church, Nagarukhra has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Can't see where this passes either WP:GNG or WP:GEOFEAT.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 20:00, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at Ukrah shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. • Gene93k (talk) 13:52, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

EW on Ukrah
[edit]I see someone has been here before on this topic. I just tagged আকাশ নাথ সরকার for this and mentioned wp:OWN. You have been around here long enough. Please work it out some other way? Thank you Adakiko (talk) 07:55, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Ukrah
[edit]You need to at least "go through the motions" of discussing changes to Ukrah before making them on the article. I undid আকাশ নাথ সরকার's changes to Ukrah as his "vandalism" wp:ES appeared incorrect and removed his warning on your talk page. Please read and follow wp:Dispute resolution guidelines? Thank you Adakiko (talk) 19:03, 9 September 2021 (UTC)
Ukrah / Nagarukhra
[edit]That article has been Ukrah since it was created. Moving / changing the article from Ukrah to Nagarukhra would likely be considered an wp:article hijack. I would recommend leaving Ukrah as-is. My apologies, but I will undo your latest edit to Ukrah as the article is about that area and not Nagarukhra. Please do not restore your content in Ukrah. Please start the article draft:Nagarukhra. You can copy content from Ukrah, just state that you did so in the wp:edit summary: see wp:Copying within Wikipedia. Essentially, add Copied content from [[Ukrah]]; see that page's history for attribution to your ES. (Don't include the nowiki stuff, it just there to show the double brackets '[[ ]]') When you get the article properly wp:cited, then it can be moved to wp:article space; e.g. Nagarukhra. However it needs to be properly cited. See help:referencing for beginners. Nagarukhra is currently a wp:redirect and can be overwritten. If you put the amount of effort into Draft:Nagarukhra as you have with Ukrah, it could become a great article! Take and upload some nice photos of Nagarukhra. If you wish, I would gladly be of assistance. I am not on Wikipedia all the time, so it may take awhile for me to respond. You can email me. See "Email this user" in on the left when viewing my talk page. Please respond when you read this? Reply here so the content is on one page. Use a wp:ping so I get messaged. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 19:28, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:আকাশ নাথ সরকার. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Do not move other people's user talk pages. –Novem Linguae (talk) 08:23, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:আকাশ নাথ সরকার. David Biddulph (talk) 08:58, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
- I saw User:Iamakashnathsarkar deleting pieces of the page User:আকাশ নাথ সরকার, but I decided not to warn them for this, because it appears one of these users is impersonating the other. One of you may want to contact WP:OVERSIGHT and let them sort this out. –Novem Linguae (talk) 09:17, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
Nagarukhra
[edit]The only citation for Nagarukhra is one that you appear to have made? https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Nagarukhra I think the article needs something that is independent. I didn't see any mention of Nagrukhra on https://censusindia.gov.in/ It shows a "Ukhra", but no "Nagarukra". Do you have another sources for Nagarukhra? Thank you Adakiko (talk) 10:45, 19 September 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Nagarukhra, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Division. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Nagarukhra. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 06:24, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Ukrah, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 07:23, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ukrah is an article about the settlement named "Ukrah". Is is not about a settlement named "Nagarukhra". Please do not wp:HIJACK Ukrah. If you have reliable sources demonstrating the wp:notability of Nagarukra per WP:GNG, please use the guideline wp:Articles for creation. Please do not proceed with its creation until you have enough wp:reliable sources (RS) per GNG. Note that user-created content is rarely considered RS. See wp:verifiability, more specifically, wp:SELFPUBLISH. Thank you Adakiko (talk) 07:37, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
