Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 07:31, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Problems with upload of Image:IMG 1765.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:IMG 1765.JPG. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file, please understand that the vast majority of images found on the internet are not appropriate for Wikipedia. Most content on the internet is copyrighted and the creator of the image has exclusive rights to use it. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others - do not upload images that violate others' copyrights. In certain limited cases, we may be able to use an image under a claim of fair use - if you are certain that fair use would apply here, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list. If no fair use rationale applies, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Admrb♉ltz (t • c • log) 18:35, 29 June 2008 (UTC)License tagging for Image:Tree dos.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Tree dos.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:07, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:ROOOOO.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:40, 13 July 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 12:40, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]This is the only warning you will receive. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Agarwood. AvnjayTalk 12:47, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
- Just an explanation as to why I have warned you: The edits you made removed Wiki formatting from the article, they directly repeated material that was already in the article (just a copy and paste of a paragraph), the pictures need to be resized and formatted correctly. Your edits also removed content from the article with no explanation and added personal contact information. Please do continue to edit Wikipedia but try and avoid these unhelpful contributions in the future. If you have any questions/comments please do add them to my talk page. Thanks! Happy editing, AvnjayTalk 12:50, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Agarwood
[edit]You keep adding personal and irrelevant information to Agarwood. Please stop. You are welcome to make constructive edits to Wikipedia, but adding contact information is seen as spam. Removing Wiki markup is also very nonconstructive. Before making any more edits, I suggest carefully reading these pages: The Five Pillars of Wikipedia, What Wikipedia is not, and Getting started. Thanks, Wakanda's Black Panther!♠/♦ 02:43, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- Please stop adding spam to Agarwood. If you continue to make non-constructive edits in this manner, you are likely to receive a block.
stop reverting Agarwood
[edit]Hi, I'm not the first person to tell you this. You need to stop reverting the Agarwood article because everytime you do so, you remove valid edits that other people made. The article doesn't belong to you.
At the very least, let's discuss changes instead of just fighting without saying a word. I made a bunch of valid formatting edits without changing the content you wrote and you just deleted everything I made without a word!
Hello Hafizmuar! It seems there has been a bit of a content dispute involving you at the above article so I thought I would take some time to enlighten you to what is happening and why some other editors are taking issue with your edits.
Firstly Wikipedia has very strong policies on what it is not, which includes things like telephone directory, publisher of original though and advertising agency. The last one of these is covered under the policy on spam. It would be really worth while reading these policy pages if you haven't already. Some of the edits you have made such as this one, this one, and this one violate these policies: they add information promoting a company and personal contact details. This is why that material has been removed!
Secondly some of the edits you have made, although introducing new and appropriate informations, such as [here don't have the citations required to support them. One of Wikipedia's strongest policies is "no original research", which means that all information must be supported by verifiable sources.
Thirdly some of your edits replace perfectly good material with a version that lacks a lot of the information that was present before and introduces un-sourced statements. An example of this is this edit. Indeed, it was this type of edit that caught my attention first of all and caused me to give you the warning above.
As we don't like dispute on Wikipeda (but actively promote Wikilove) here is what I propose. Take a read of the policies I've linked to above and then consider what you want to write in the context of what you have read. Then if you think you have relevant information to add that meets the polices post it on the article's talk page (found here) under the heading "Seeking community approval". Other editors can then review it and advise you if it needs reworking at all. That way you won't be making any unconstructive edits which are likely to lead you to be blocked, which would be sad!
Feel free to post a reply to this message below (remember to sign your post with four tildes ~~~~). Please don't ignore what I've written above and continue to add the same material. This is likely to lead me to filing a Request for comment/User conduct, which would be a sad state of affairs as you are obviously a competent editor. I don't mean to threaten you just warn you of possible consequences - we are only trying to help you!
If you have any questions or comments either add them below or write them on my talk page. I hope you have a good day! AvnjayTalk 21:30, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
I, as well as other editors, have asked you multiple times to stop adding spam to Agarwood. As a result of your recent edits, I've reported you here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Spam#Agarwood. A note to other editors: many of the warnings related to this user's spamming have been removed, such as here and here. ~ Wakanda's Black Panther!♠/♦ 08:00, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

removed another edit from agarwood
[edit]Hi, this is to let you know the reason why I removed your edit to Agarwood.
You are adding non-sourced material concerning your own activities. As you have shown from pictures, and from leaving your phone number on the page, you are the Prof.Sulaiman Bin Doss Mohammed Khan you mentionned in your edits. If your movement is important enough, then there should be neutral and reputable sources that can be cited in the article. Furthermore, ideally, edits about your own work should be done by others.
Finally, please be careful when you edit content. You keep copying content from old versions of the article, and this restores formatting and spelling errors that had been solved previously... Althena (talk) 04:36, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
Notification of automated file description generation
[edit]Your upload of File:Condensers.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! The file File:DOSS Products.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
