Hello, Gwennolddu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.
You'll probably notice that I merged an article you started, Rhedynfre, to Farndon, Cheshire, after undoing the move you made. I explained my reasoning for the move back on the talk page. My reason for the merger is that we don't need separate articles for different names for the same thing. The redirect is in place in case any one searches for the Welsh name, and the information was retained, except a sentence which I believed constituted original research. If you have any questions about my edits, bring it up on the talk pages of the articles and I'll try to explain better.

Handbridge
[edit]You may take it as a compliment that no one has welcomed you before! It means your edits have not screamed "newbie"! But some advice:
- Please always log on when editing - I suspect these edits are yours and should have had your name on them.
- Please learn about #redirects. We only want one article about Handbridge. An alternative title of Tre-Boeth is allowed (but not "Handbridge/Tre-Boeth"). Please recover anyhing useful from this old version and this one and merge them into the Handbridge article.
- NickelShoe has picked up Rhedynfre above but they missed Farndon/Rhedynfre,Cheshire/Swydd Caer. This is a totally horrible title which really should be deleted. Again please pick up anything from your version.

Similarly Millstone Grit was a fork. -- RHaworth 19:25, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
Please pay attention to link creation. A red link may mean that you have not been careful - some of your obvious errors: WALES, County Borough of Wrexham, Non -Conformist Chapel and Weslayan chapel. Even if a link is blue, you still need to be careful that it is unambiguous, eg. Pant or L.M.S (the latter was not needed as a link because you already had a link to the proper title). Learn about piped links. Wikipedia search is not very good - it is often better to use Google! Include in the Google search site:en.wikipedia.org to limit its scope. -- RHaworth 10:11, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
