Your recent editing history at Never Have I Ever (TV series) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. wjematherplease leave a message... 15:38, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one week for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I understand what I was blocked for and I will not do it again. Let me explain a little why I kept reverting multiple edits done by the same user. I was looking at the history page of Never Have I ever (TV series). User:Crispsoaks was lowkey vandalizing wikipedia. He was only active on the Never Have I Ever (TV series) page to revert edits. He used this link as a source (his very first or second edit) to make edits which where reverted by other users and by me: https://www.google.com/search?q=Never+Have+I+Ever+poster&tbm=isch&source=iu&ictx=1&fir=WP3zBJAVB5M9fM%253A%252CY9bdHXxqLpTtNM%252C_&vet=1&usg=AI4_-kRiXIxGKq9cquSH_LX8qaX99y24yA&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjg9ZTovKfpAhW9hHIEHVz7CrgQ9QEwBXoECAoQHw#imgrc=4wwBQkZve3XeVM But User:Crispsoaks kept coming back to make the same edits reasoning to a poster which referred to the link and wasn't constructive and valid. Can you unblock me? I will not revert on the Never Have I ever page anymore. Factcheck2020 (talk) 19:37, 11 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

First of all, that was not vandalism. Vandalism is when someone replaces an entire page with something like "haha u suck". That's the kind of edit you can repeatedly revert. When you're in a content dispute, you're supposed to use dispute resolution. Instead of complaining about the other person, you should be telling us how you're going to resolve issues like this in the future. Second, what's up with Factchecking139 (talk · contribs)? I hope you're not intending to use both accounts to edit war in the same articles. That would be a rather overt violation of our policy on multiple accounts. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
