Check out the Jesus article and edit it to keep it focused on Jesus and a biographical account of Him. Watch the Jesus page to keep it focused on Him. Thank you. Scifiintel 21:49, 6 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Dragoonmac, I have modified this edit, as in Australia it is not most commonly women who give men gifts, but the other way around. - Ta bu shi da yu 13:14, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Pedophilia Project vote

[edit]

Thanks a million, I should have thought of that myself! No you did not step out of line, you tactfully refactored the discussion at an important point. Physchim62 (talk) 17:57, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see an issue here that requires that. I don't see any outside calls for people to come in or any rush of newbys voting. If you have a problem, just be frank about it. I've removed the template because it simply isn't relevant without the above conditions being met, and if it's not relevant, adding it looks like an attempt to sway people unfairly. No outside site has said anything at all, and there aren't many newbys voting there, if any. I'm trying to assess what your issue is so I can help. What's up? --DanielCD 02:36, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I read your comment on Flo's page. --DanielCD 02:47, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think the debate in its current form is causing some confusion, and I have left a comment in this regard. The debate is not to resurrect this project in its exact form, as I just don't think the larger community is going to let that fly. This is where I think several of us are getting a little confused, and I'm sorry for any off comments in that regard. Some work may be at hand to redefine the issue. --DanielCD 03:25, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Debates sometimes have rough edges (especially in this format), but I think some more clarity will arise from the back and forth we've had, so all's well that ends well :-). --DanielCD 21:01, 15 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since you originally prodded it, I thought you'd like to know that Osbolewski is now at AfD. NickelShoe 04:30, 28 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't understand why you proposed an article for deletion saying it ought to be a redirect? Why not just make it a redirect? I'm doing this for you, I'm just confused about what you were intending. NickelShoe 03:15, 3 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

American English Userbox review

[edit]

Thanks for pointing that one in the correct direction, I puzzeled for a while over what to do with it... thanks. Ian3055 19:17, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've been persuaded of the need to keep userboxes to useful types as the debate has gone on. Thought it was important to establish consistency between the different English dialect boxes, the idea of the "non-understanding" American boxes not existing, but the Southern/British English ones existing is somewhat more POV and divisive than the box ever could be on its own. Hello, I noticed you edited a Hip Hop related article. If you wish you can join the new Hip Hop Wikiproject. Thanks for your time. Tutmosis 22:58, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would love your help.

Hi,

I know you are interested in christianity, and I recently started a new wiki over at wikicities which is on the subject of christianity. Christian Knowledge Base is the site.

The goal is to have a knowledgebase on christianity from a distinctly "C(hristian)POV" rather than the NPOV. It is not meant to be a mere Christian Encyclopedia, but to foster a real sense of community. I'd like to include things like current events, news, stories, and anything that would add to both an understanding of Christianity, but also its enjoyment. I'm looking for help to build a resource that could really enrich the lives of Christians.

I know you are busy but I am actively seeking new sysops/admins to help me build this site up, and I would be positively thrilled if you could contribute in any capacity whatsoever. nsandwich 05:51, 24 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You asked about whether some of the less traditional denominations are included in the CPOV. As a matter of fact, we are working towards a consensus on that issue right now, and would love your input. It does look as though the general consensus is to be as inclusionary as possible. Please take a look at this page to get started. nsandwich 07:03, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Mediation Cabal

You are a disputant in a case listed under Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases. We invite you to be a mediator in a different case. Please read How do I get a mediator assigned to my case? for more information.

Mediation Case: U.S. Roads

[edit]
You have indicated that you are willing to accept an assignment as a mediator. I have assigned this case to you. If you don't want to take the case on, just say so at the bottom of the request, delegate it to someone else and update the case list accordingly. Before you begin the mediation please read the suggestions for mediators. You can also review earlier mediation cases to get an understanding for possible procedures.

By no more edits, do you mean totally? Or can I do stuff not related to the dispute? --Rschen7754 (talk - contribs) 03:36, 27 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note

[edit]

Hey D-mac, thanks so much for the note you left on the talk page. Yep, minimalism is my forte. I'm also allergic to userboxes. Take care! StarryEyes 16:25, 10 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. Are you a volunteer? Employee of Wikipedia? I was just curious how you happened to leave a note for me. I am new to W.

Thanks.

Speedy deletion

[edit]

I noticed that you tagged the page Zero Speak for speedy deletion with the reason "Patent Nonsense/Vanity/Already in the leet article". However, "Patent Nonsense/Vanity/Already in the leet article" is not currently one of our criteria for speedy deletion, so I have removed the speedy deletion tag. You can use Wikipedia:Articles for deletion if you still want the article to be deleted. Thanks! Stifle (talk) 22:13, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Whats up? Hi, I'm trying to gather some more interest and support for the Wikipedia:WikiProject Punk music. Please check out the topics and lets get our WikiProject to function better. Recently, I've taken an interest in the Wikipedia:WikiProject hip hop and I consider that WikiProject to be better developed. I am now writing to usernames on the hiphopWP who might be interested in helping with the punkmusicWP. Hopefully we can all work together to improve articles relating to punk as has been done well with hip hop. Finally, I am trying to gather support and opinions concerning the punk house article and specifically the Theta Beta Potata article which is currently in AfD (x2) at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Theta Beta Potata (second nomination). Please check it out and voice your opinion. Xsxex 09:03, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
