Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Derakhshan52, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Kereshteh, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Tdslk (talk) 02:57, 8 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Kereshteh

[edit]

The article Kereshteh has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Machine-translated article. I could find very little information about this place on the web, it may be a neighborhood in a larger city, or an older name for another city?? The given latitude and longitude are an uninhabited desert.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Safed Khoon ‎. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable, by being clearly attributed to reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the material (see here for how to do inline referencing). Thanks! P.S. If you need any help, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Kuru (talk) 00:25, 2 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Referee stub template and category

[edit]

Greetings! I see that you created this stub template and category; unfortunately, stub types should be proposed and discussed beforehand at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting, mainly to ensure that there's a need for them and that they're formed according to WP standards. If there were 60 or more articles which required such a template, it would probably be approved for creation, but it doesn't look like it would qualify. We might be able to create the template and set it up to feed into an existing stub category such as Category:Sports stubs. I will probably take Category:Referees stubs for deletion at any rate, as it's not currently needed, and as it isn't formed per standards. Thank you for your efforts, and please come see us at WPSS next time you want to create a stub type. Thanks, Her Pegship (talk) 23:57, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Rustam-o-sohrab-agha-hashr-kashmiri.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rustam-o-sohrab-agha-hashr-kashmiri.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 12:31, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Rustam-o-sohrab-agha-hashr-kashmiri.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Rustam-o-sohrab-agha-hashr-kashmiri.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:08, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
