Cavarrone 16:56, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

No parlavi di questo [2] prova a cliccarlo, grz. Ncecredozo (talk) 19:05, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

Sasa Handa

Hi: A belated response to your message. I've been taking a break from Wikipedia for the last few months but I've started editing again at least part time. I have some other information on Sasa Handa which I will add to the article soon. Good editing! Cherryblossom1982 (talk) 05:45, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

I've just seen your edits...thanks for your contributions! --Cavarrone (talk) 11:16, 5 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi. I would like to thank you for helping improve the Sian Barbara Allen article. However, I don't know why you rv the fact that Thomas and Allen met on the film You'll Like My Mother which directly led to their personal relationship and Allen's being hired on Thomas's series, The Waltons. This is not OR of SYNTHESIS, and the text is "not" redundant as it ties together the above interlinking facts (film → personal relationship → television series). Yours, Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 13:29, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Hy! I never reverted the fact that Thomas and Allen met on the film You'll Like My Mother.

It is clear in the statement "She appeared in You'll Like My Mother (1972), starring Patty Duke, Rosemary Murphy and Richard Thomas". It's totally useless and redundant repeat one sentence later: "Richard Thomas, with whom she had appeared in You'll Like My Mother"... Adding to this, it simply repeats that these two actors worked together - without any reference to their personal relationship.

If you want to say that at that time they had a personal relationship and that Allen was hired on Thomas's series for Thomas'influence, write it, plain and simple! Good editing!--Cavarrone (talk) 13:54, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for the help. I am glad we came up with a better article. I just have to make a slight tweak re mm/dd/yyyy formatting. Thanks again. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 14:11, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

Barnstar

Thanks for the Barnstar. Much appreciated! Cherryblossom1982 (talk) 16:12, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

I tried explaining that to him earlier, to deaf ears and his case of WP:IDHT. Thanks for your own effort. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 21:26, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, really a case of WP:IDHT.--Cavarrone (talk) 23:33, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Perhaps you might look again...

The original article was indeed poorly written, poorly sourced, and had a biased point of view. I've just spent some time using a sandblaster to rewrite the article... to remove any sense of promotion, make it more neutral and encyclopedic, and to add suitable sources. While I personally do not agree with the filmmaker's method of trying to equate the Holocaust with women's rights and abortion, our inclusion requirements require verifiability, and not truth. Perhaps you might stop by 180 Documentary, look at how it was when when firest nominated and how it now appears after some work. I believe, whether we might like the topic or not, WP:NF is now shown as being met. Best regards, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 04:57, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

Undid Peter Falk edits

What you did there was a WP:CUTPASTE move -- I've undone it, since those are against the rules, as they break the article histories. I'd suggest opening a WP:Requested move discussion to undo that move instead. --SarekOfVulcan (talk) 20:47, 19 November 2011 (UTC)

I'm not Chester

I'm Harry. We're not relatives and have never met. Since he's a living person, I'd like to ask you to delete the inaccurate middle name, "Chester", from your post. (Delete, not strike-through.) If you do, please also delete my response. I might be a jerk. He's totally uninvolved. It would be better if he wasn't linked on wikipedia to any accusation of bad faith. WP:BLP.

All of this is totally unrelated to the AfD and tars a living person with a brush meant for me. Please consider my request indepenent of any other interactions with me. It's a separate matter, an important one, and I hope one where our views are more in alignment. Thanks. David in DC (talk) 12:51, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bethany Benz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. reddogsix (talk) 03:00, 3 December 2011 (UTC)

Well made points

Encouraged by your words, the article on Hans Canosa is now looking even better.[3] Each of his three films has received positive comentary and review. Two of them even received recognition at various festivals. For someone who had never even seen a film until he was 17, this fellow is doing okay. They editors hidden behind use of anonymous IPs would do well to give proper consider to the instructions of GNG and to WP:FILMMAKER... and even a little to WP:ANYBIO. Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 04:08, 4 December 2011 (UTC)

RFA thank you

Thank you for your comment and support at my recent successful RFA. Being now the new fellow in the fraternity of administrators, I will do my best to live up to the confidence shown in me by others, will move slowly and carefully when using the mop, will seek input from others before any action of which I might be unsure, and will try not to break anything beyond repair. Best, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 21:46, 4 December 2011 (UTC)

Will be unable to do anything until Monday afternoon PST, but add both a "Filmography"[4] and an "Awards and noninations"[5] sections to his article. Then if you can, search for his name and include but include the names of his various projects one by one to get the confirmation TPH asks. Back later. Regarding Abhishek Kumar page

Hello Carravone....really sorry I am putting my point in someone e;se's note on your talk page...but I am new to wiki, so don't know how to create a new note in talk page. Abhishek Kumar is about me. You can search about 5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore on google and my name will show up. If IMDB is not a good reference as you mentioned on page, please put in good references for me. It will be a big favour. I will be thankful to you buddy. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aru2k2005 (talkcontribs) 18:02, 5 December 2011 (UTC)

Page stalker here... hints to User:Aru2k2005, when you wish to drop a note on a talk page, simply look at the top where you have the option to click the "new section" button. You can then create a section header and type your message below it. And be sure to sign your mesages by typing four tildes after it. It'll look like "~~~~" in the edit screen, but when you hit save it will sign your user name and add a date stamp. And if you add brackets "[[ ]]" around an article name, it will create a link to it.
And toward other concerns, I urge to read WP:NAU to understand that AS the admitted subject of the article, it is strongly encouraged that you do not edit it. You are welcome to leave notes and concerns on the article's talk page upon which others might act, but per WP:COI you should refrain from editing it yourself. Please, as Wikipedia takes concerns with conflict of interest very seriously. IMDB is considered a place which can inspire searches, but is not itelf suitable as an article reference. I suggest also that you read WP:PRIMER to get a start on just how to determine a reliable source and to begin understanding the Wikipedia concept of notability and how something might or might be suitable for inclusion. Italian movies

If you start any more can you add them to the relative years of List of Italian films? Keep up the good work!!♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:37, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

added a link to The Curse (film)
Nicoletta Machiavelli (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)

New attempt to remove OccupyMARINES

Please forgive this unsolicited contact, but I note that a couple of weeks ago, you participated in a discussion at Wikipedia regarding the proposed deletion of their entry on OccupyMARINES. Of 26 respondents, 24 voted to Keep; only 2 voted Delete. The result was to Keep the article.

However, it has now been nominated again for deletion, and I thought you might be interested. Here's the URL for the new discussion page:

Hello. Please take another look at the above article, I have noted that the centre won an award in 2003. Till I Go Home (talk) 09:46, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

  • I hate to come across as annoying, but the analysis you gave on the AfD about the award is inaccurate. The official name is "Rider Hunt Award", (without historical, which I only went by according to the source) which gets many hits in Google. Till I Go Home (talk) 05:03, 13 December 2011 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Angie (TV series).jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Angie (TV series).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. George Ho (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited Odd Squad (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Riccardo Garrone (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Italian cinema

Excellent work. But can you add the films you start to the List of Italian films by year?♦ Dr. Blofeld 22:52, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

I've already added some titles, the rest is in my 'things to do' list. - Cavarrone (talk) 23:13, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I see that you are quite a prolific article creator, nicely done! I also noticed that you too were "scolded" early on a Senior Wikipedian, but it looks like you're editing and posting without much hassle.

Recently I edited the article for India Summer. I hope you don't mind, she is a friend and I have been trying to help out with some of her PR. I have also submitted updates to IMDb.com on her behalf as well. She was a busy girl last year. Regards --Scalhotrod - Just your average banjo playing, drag racing, cowboy... Seamus (dog)

I'm okay with the idea of keeping the article the article for Seamus but renaming it, either the "Seamus Controversy" or "Seamus Incident". There is some precident for that -- for example there is an article named Chappaquiddick incident linked to the article for Edward Kennedy. I did a Google search, and I got very few hits for "Seamus Controversy", but I did get a number of hits for "Seamus incident", in reference to Mitt Romney. I repled to your post on the AfD page.Debbie W. 12:47, 31 January 2012 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Gotti (1996 film).jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gotti (1996 film).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Shorted Version of Seamus (dog)

I saw your post that we should create a somewhat shortened version of the Seamus incident in the Mitt Romney article, so I gave it a try, and created a three-paragraph version. How does this seem to you?

=="Crate-gate" controversy==
During Romney's presidential campaigns, an issue was made of a report that in 1983, Romney transported his pet dog Seamus on the roof of his automobile for twelve hours.[1] While enroute to a family cottage in Beach O'Pines, Ontario, Seamus was enclosed in a carrier on the roof of the Romney family's station wagon. Sometime during the trip, the dog became afflicted with diarrhea, causing excrement to flow down the windows of the car. Romney stopped at a gas station to wash Seamus and the car, put Seamus back in his carrier, and continued the twelve-hour trip to Ontario.[2]
The Massachusetts American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) stated that Romney's actions were probably illegal under Massachusetts law, but that the statute of limitations has passed. Ingrid Newkirk, the president of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has labeled the incident as animal cruelty and torture.[3]
During a 2012 interview with Chris Wallace of Fox News, Romney stated that Seamus enjoyed being in the dog carrier, an "air-tight kennel," and that he was not aware of any violations of Massachusetts law.[4] During the 2012 U.S. Republican presidential primaries, candidate Newt Gingrich aired an anti-Romney attack ad that featured the story.[5] Seamus was later given to Mitt Romney's sister, Jane Romney of California, and the dog has since passed away.[6]

Thank you. I'm am going to wait and see what the closing admin User:PhantomSteve does before I take any further action.Debbie W. 11:57, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
