Calpain
[edit]Hi,
I just added the Calpain page to the Category:Protein families category. Alexbateman (talk) 10:18, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I also added category for Cathepsin, so you should add that to your list. Alexbateman (talk) 10:29, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Thymosins
[edit]Hi Abergabe i'm puzzled why you have reverted the page title to singular. It is very obscure what "thymosin" in singular can now refer to. The article itself refers to a series of different thymosins. I would much prefer to see the plural restored Jgedwards (talk) 22:58, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
- Heya, You're entirely right. I'd misread the focus of the article and as you say, it's about a group rather than a single protein. I'll get that changed back. Thanks for pointing it out, and sorry for jumping the gun so, I realised after I'd done it I probably should have discussed it >.< Abergabe (talk) 08:29, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi Abergabe Thanks for fixing that. No sweat. Don't let this put you off your good work amongst the bio entries! i'm hoping to expand the thymosins article before long. Not sure if Wikipedia allows personal note here, but I love Aberystwyth - my Pembrokeshire=born wife was a student there in the 1950s Jgedwards (talk) 08:43, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
- As I understand it, personal notes are fine so long as you're doing something constructive ^_^ It's ok, it was my own silliness, and if you need a hand on anything I'll be happy to help out. Also, glad you like aber, it's one of those places that really leaves a mark on people :) Abergabe (talk) 08:56, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
COSMIC cancer database
[edit]Hi. I've nominated COSMIC cancer database, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article here, where you can improve it if you see fit. Rockpocket 17:33, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
- FYI, the COSMIC DYK will be on the front page on 10th September between 1 and 7pm. Well done. Rockpocket 12:22, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
- Awesome, I'm sure everyone will be glad you hear it :) Abergabe (talk) 12:23, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
DYK for COSMIC cancer database
[edit]On 10 September 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article COSMIC cancer database, which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check ) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
