Linking

Hi — welcome to Wikipedia, great to have you here! :) It's good that you're adding links where needed... but just bear the following points in mind (these aren't necessarily the most important ones, just based on your edits so far):

Please make sure the link points to the specific article you meant it to point to. Generic terms like 'American' often point to disambiguation pages, which isn't very helpful, because the reader doesn't then know which of the possible destination pages was the intended target.
- PS: ...and certainly don't expressly point to a dab page, like you did with [[Patrick Lyons (disambiguation)|Patrick Lyons]]; find instead the correct page you do want to point to, and pipe the link to that.
Usually (though not always) the same term is only linked once from a given article. And more generally, not every link that could be added, needs to be added.
You don't need to 'pipe' links where a simple addition outside the link brackets would do the job. For example, [[Will Oldham|Will Oldham's]] could simply be written as [[Will Oldham]]'s
