[edit]Hello, I'm Tommi1986. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ghostbusters (2016 film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Tommi1986 let's talk! 09:41, 10 July 2021 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to The Golden Compass (film), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please don't add a category to an article when the article is already in an appropriate subcategory. There's no need to include both the parent and child categories. [edit]Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Birdman (film), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. [edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Social Network. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. As per the prior message left here, you should not be adding categories to an article that are unsupported by the article's content. There's no mention that I saw on the linked page of any race-related controversy. DonIago (talk) 16:35, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

"Controversy"
[edit]Categories identifying a "controversy" about a film should only be added if there is sourced material in the article describing the nature of the supposed controversy. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 19:24, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Monster House (film), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Also, please see WP:UNDUE. We don't generally care what actors thought of films.
