Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! —MelbourneStar☆talk 07:19, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

Controversy sections
[edit]Hi there. I've undone two of your edits wherein you had added empty controversy sections to the Nancy Pelosi and Gretchen Whitmer articles, which is completely inappropriate per Wikipedia's policies on living people and neutrality. Whilst you'll see other articles with "controversy" sections (although just because one article mentions X, doesn't mean another article should contain X—each article and subject is different), they have been added over time, with multiple editors' input, with reliable sources, adhering to our neutrality policy (specifically WP:WEIGHT). We most certainly do not add empty sections to articles in hopes that they'll be expanded if it is controversial and the article is on a living person. Please read this essay for more guidance on the matter, or consider opening a discussion on the respective articles' talk pages to ascertain how such section can be included/if it can/why it can't etc. Kind regards, —MelbourneStar☆talk 07:19, 10 September 2020 (UTC)
Labrador Retriever
[edit]Hello. Welcome to Wikipedia, unfortunately one or more of your recent contributions to Labrador Retriever has been reverted. Even though I’m sure this edit was made in good-faith, it added a statement without citation. It changed the variety of English without good reason, see MOS:RETAIN. Consider opening debate on the article’s talk page. A copy of your edit is available on the article’s edit history. For more general advice on editing see the Contributing to Wikipedia page.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page. Thank you.

Please stop trying to change "colour" to "color" in the Labrador Retriever articles. Those articles use British English.--Mr Fink (talk) 04:03, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Labrador Retriever. --Mr Fink (talk) 04:04, 13 September 2020 (UTC)
I have again had to revert your edits to this page. You repeated links in the article which is against Wikipedia’s Method of Style, see MOS:REPEATLINK.

Overlinking
[edit]Hi, 45382B3. Just to let you know, I reverted your edits to Kayleigh McEnany which added wikilinks to the article. Generally speaking we try not to link too many common words or things because it makes it harder to read. Please see MOS:OVERLINK for a more detailed rationale. [edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!
