1978 World Series Credit

[edit]

"Not playing" (or not being on the World Series roster) is not the standard for whether a play gets credit for a World Series title or not. The ball club determines who gets credit or not and the New York Yankees publicly acknowledge Randolph is a two-time World Series Champion as a player and is clearly stated on his plaque in Monument Park at Yankees Stadium. Randolph has two championships with the Yankees as a player; this is common knowledge. Stop changing this. If it is Wiki policy to go against a teams official statement the policy needs to be changed. 24.44.110.29 (talk) 16:50, 28 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
