Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Khosi Twala. PEPSI697 (💬📝) 06:24, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Khosi Twala. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. PEPSI697 (💬📝) 06:24, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How AfD Works!

[edit]

Hey 197.184.182.161!

I noticed you were removing Articles for Deletion (WP:AFD) templates from Khosi Twala, so I thought I'd give you an introduction to how this process works.

You may be getting confused with another one of our deletion processes, proposed deletion (WP:PROD), where you object to the deletion by removing the PROD template.

But, AfD is different! A discussion, linked to by the template, will run for 7 days, and then it will either be extended or action (deletion, keeping, redirecting etc.) will occur based on the WP:CONSENSUS of editors in the discussion.

Removing the template does nothing - the discussion will still continue. If you object to the deletion, you should follow the link in the template and add your opinion. All editors are welcome to do this, including yourself.

If you'd like a primer of how to submit your opinion and some policies you can use to back it up, you can see a guide I wrote here.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions by replying! :) MolecularPilot 06:28, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
