Joyce Bukirwa Muwanguzi is a researcher and lecturer in Library and Information Science. She is associated with Makerere University in Uganda, specifically the East African School of Library and Information Science (EASLIS).

Joyce was born in Kilangira village in Mukono district to the late Samuel Sempebwa and Teopista Nassozi.[1] She holds a PhD in Information Science, a Master of Science in Information Science obtained from Addis Ababa University in 1998 and a Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) from Makerere University obtained in 1994.[1]

Dr. Joyce Bukirwa Muwanguzi has dedicated her career to the field of education. She serves as a lecturer at Makerere University, specifically in the East African School of Library and Information Science (EASLIS). Her expertise extends to educational psychology and counseling.[1][2][3]

She is a born-again Christian, married to pastor James Muwanguzi of New Life Christian Centre Ministries and God and the couple two girls and two boys.[1][9]
