A fact from Anarchyshake appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 18 April 2015 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

I am a Wikipedia editor based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and I primarily work on pages related to Library and Information Science, as well as women artists, particularly craft arts.
Areas of Interest
[edit]My research interests include online communities, and how individual and group identity is expressed in those communities through documentation practices. I am also interested in and involved with privacy, security, and surveillance issues in digital spaces, especially through the lens of information literacy. Additionally, I work in the Digital Humanities, creating and helping to maintain projects that bring together History, Sociology, Information Science, and Computer Science. My work uses queer, feminist, and critical theories as lenses to examine how people relate to one another, and how we define ourselves.
Wikipedia Projects
[edit]I have been a Wikipedian since November 2014, and I have participated in several Wikipedia editathons and events, including:
- Art+Feminism
- Women of Jazz
- Librarians@Pratt (see event pages below)
- WikiDay NYC
- WikiWednesday Salons through Wikimedia NYC
I have also led a number of Wikipedia training events and editathons and spoken at Wiki-related events:
- Librarians@Pratt (Spring and Fall 2016)
- NYBG Editathon (Summer 2016)
- WikiWednesday Salon (Spring 2015)
- WikiDay NYC 2015 (Winter 2015)
- Video of my lightning talk about the WP:Refdesk feature is available on the Wikipedia Day 2015 livestream, beginning at approximately 32:30.
Additionally, my work on the page Quilt National was featured on the front page of English-language Wikipedia as a "Did You Know?" item in April 2015.
