Jamie Anderson is an American director, writer and actor[1] best known for her work writing and directing the award winning Punching Bag short film.

Jamie studied at University of Florida for 2 years before she began studying acting in Los Angeles with Larry Moss (acting coach) and then studied writing under teacher Pilar Allesandra of OnThePage.com[2]

2012 first movie optioned by Radar Pictures
June 2015: Won the TrackingB writing contest with Pilot “Pushing 40” now titled “Pumas”
2016: Won a writing scholarship to Rocaberti Writers Retreat in Spain
2017: Got two feature films in development, one at Broken Road Productions, one at Patriot Pictures
March 10, 2018: Won best director for film “Punching Bag” at LASFF
March 24, 2018: Nominated for best dark comedy at Portland Comedy Film Festival
August 17, 2018: PB Selected at Holly Shorts Film Fest, showed at Manns Chinese Theatre in Hollywood
October 11, 2018: PB at ITVFest in Vermont
November 15, 2018: PB at Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival
December 2018: Short film “I’m F%$#ing Fine” wins prestigious Vitruvian Award from DaVinci Film Festival
January 2019: Gets hired to direct “I Won’t Say I Love You” in the UK, filming March 2019.
