The Nevada Independent is a nonpartisan, nonprofit news and opinion website founded in 2017 by veteran political journalist and commentator Jon Ralston.[1][2] It focuses on the Nevada Legislature and stories from across the state in government, policy, politics and business.[3]
The publication also host events across Nevada including IndyTalks and IndyFest, their annual two-day event held each year in the fall in Las Vegas.
