Defunct Teams

[edit]

Why are the Expos considered a defunct team? If that is the case, so are the Washington Senators (twice) and Seattle Pilots, among others. --Wolfer68 (talk) 22:55, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Boston Reds

[edit]

I added the Boston Reds (1890–1891) all-time roster to the template, although it had to be put into two different places. The Boston Reds (AA) and the Boston Reds (PL) are the same franchise. If it looks funky, it may need to be fixed.Neonblak talk - 07:56, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The same will eventually need to be done for the 1890-91 Quakers/Athletics, I suppose. Perhaps we should have a section for multi-league teams, although then we'd have to put the Brewers there, which may be troublesome. -Dewelar (talk) 14:45, 30 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Progress

[edit]

With the AA Athletics done, we're down to teams with really short runs. The longest one I think is the 1886-89 Nationals (4 seasons). Not bad, folks! -Dewelar (talk) 21:12, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
