Revert changes and modify

[edit]

I'd like to revert the changes back to the former template, as it was more up to date and cleaner than the TDSB template. I'd also suggest comparing the two templates and incorporating the relevant changes.

Don't revert. It's a work in progress. I think we are working to the same goal, but along a different path. The TDSB one is there for now, but I'd like to clean it up within the public section of this template. Alaney2k (talk) 16:38, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed then. If there's anything you'd like help with let me know. I'll make a few additions at some point. Jonathan (talk) 17:11, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I've made further changes to clean up the merge. What do you think? I'm not the best at using navboxes, but I wanted to work on the navbox merge first, then make sure no schools are left out. My goals were to a) merge the two and b) to categorize. I want to be helpful in the categorization, but not favour a group over others. I don't think we should blend the public with the independents. Things to think about: geo groups for the Catholic, and maybe putting links to the school boards into this template. When we are happy with this template, I'll nominate the old TDSB for deletion. Looks good. Some of the links are all over the place, but I agree to keep the public and independents seperate. I'd agree with the adding of the Boards (it makes sense) as well as trying to get all of the High Schools listed. The list of schools on the TDSB site could also be helpful/need updating as well. The whole set of school articles in Toronto is a mess right now. Tons of stubs that haven't been touched for years. Incomplete, out of date and unreferenced articles. I am working on merging all of the elementary stubs into the neighbourhood articles, and I'll move on to putting sources to the high school articles. It's not my primary focus of editing, but I live in Toronto and would like to see more quality on the school articles. Alaney2k (talk) 18:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ah! I thought your username looked familliar. You moved the Humbercrest Public School into Old Mill...I moved it on into Baby Point since that is closer to its actual area. I'll help out in whatever way I can, just let me know if you need some. I'll poke around in cleaning up when I come across something/have time. Jonathan (talk) 18:28, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing sections

[edit]

I am not too familiar with templates and editing them, but there is no section for French catholic schools, the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud, and their schools are not present in this template. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notwillywanka (talkcontribs) 03:44, 25 February 2013 (UTC) Is anyone willing to help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notwillywanka (talkcontribs) 01:20, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there are any articles to add. Secondarywaltz (talk) 16:19, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

All the schools in the Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud need to be added. That is the French catholic board that covers Toronto. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notwillywanka (talkcontribs) 16:25, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What are they? I don't think there are any existing articles. Secondarywaltz (talk) 21:10, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Conseil scolaire de district catholique Centre-Sud. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notwillywanka (talkcontribs) 00:07, 3 April 2013 (UTC) I guess I will have to attempt to add it myself, no guarantees that it will be right, but thanks for the help. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Notwillywanka (talkcontribs) 23:51, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
