Three Dancing Maidens
[edit]... that Three Dancing Maidens can be found in Central Park (pictured)? Source: in Central Park, when he found himself facing a large bronze sculpture of three dancing girls."- ALT1:... that Three Dancing Maidens can be found in Germany, Belgium, and the United States (pictured)? Source: Which was the original, the one the Nazis stole from Mosse? Mersereau was sure it wasn’t the Untermyer Fountain in New York—records from Schott’s workshop showed that it had gone straight to the Untermyer estate. Furthermore, the Antwerp fountain had been installed around 1911, and had never left the park grounds. That left the sculpture at the German hotel."
- ALT2:... that the location of the original Three Dancing Maidens, looted by the Nazi Party, is disputed? Source: she remained cautiously hopeful that MARI would find a way to establish the provenance of the fountain at Burg Schlitz"

- Comment: I'm not sure how to include 'pictured' for ALT2

- Other problems: - ALT0 jumped out to me because I'm a New Yorker, but that is misleading because the sculpture is not exclusively located in NYC. I would go with ALT1 or ALT2. As for your question, for ALT2, I would suggest:
- ... that the location of the original Three Dancing Maidens (one casting pictured), looted by the Nazi Party, is disputed?

QPQ: Done. |
Overall: Though not strictly necessary, I would suggest adding a source after Two additional full-size copies were cast in 2003.
