Usage

[edit]

Collaborative use

[edit]

In the past, use of this template has been significantly more effective when other Wikipedians have posted messages endorsing the original posting. They probably noticed it on their watchlist. It is now possible to receive notification whenever the template is used, so that you can consider endorsing another's message. To receive these notifications, sign your name on the list at Administrators without tools/Endorsers.

Using template

[edit]

Past usage of this template has produced positive results.[a] To use the template now, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Copy the following syntax:

{{subst:Administrator without tools}} <!-- insert an optional message here --> ~~~~

2. Paste it to the bottom of the user's talk page whom you wish to receive these accolades.
3. Completely remove: <!-- insert an optional message here --> including the arrows.
4. Replace the line you just removed with a custom message (if you desire including one)[b] or simply leave it as is, with the line removed.
5. Publish the changes and the following content (including header) will be saved to that page:

There is a mop reserved in your name

[edit]
You are a remarkable editor in many ways. You would be a good administrator, in my opinion, and appear to be well qualified. You personify an administrator without tools and have gained my support already!

If you've included a custom message, it will appear here. The template will not truncate your message so it can be as long (or short) as you desire. Example (talk) 05:06, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[c]
