In the beginning the phrase in Arabic alphabet (آزمون یوس کشور ترکیه) should be removed, it is a Persian (Farsi) phrase and not Turkish. It has nothing to do with Turkey. 95.70.214.169 (talk) 09:54, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Not done for now: The article seems to state it definitely has something to do with Turkey. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 12:07, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- User:ScottishFinnishRadish It should say the phrase in Turkish, not in Farsi. In Turkish they call it Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenci Sınavı, or YÖS. I don't understand your response. For an article relating to Turkey, Turkish alphabet should be used not alphabet of other countries. 95.70.214.169 (talk) 15:19, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were saying the subject of the article and the phrase YÖS exam had nothing to do with Turkey, rather than the parenthetical. I've reopened the request, with the hope that someone who can read that alphabet can verify. Thanks. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 15:37, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Comment: If you Google for آزمون یوس کشور ترکیه it is mentioned on web pages in the Persian language. So this phrase seems intended to be helpful for students from Iran who want to pass the YÖS exam. It seems unlikely that WP would normally accept the name of the test in a language other than English in the header of the article. EdJohnston (talk) 05:58, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
