Notability

[edit]

EPS is bigger than UMIST was, and at least of its Schools have passed notability criteria. In fact probably the Dean alone is notable enough for an article, but at the moment only gets a mention in this article.

I am not sure that that necessarily makes the case. For example some of the department schools have a long history independent of the organisation as faculties. In a way the faculties are just an organisational convenience and there is really not going to be much written about them. Probably Perkins is sufficiently notable for an article if anyone wants to write one. Billlion (talk) 22:13, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the article now, I am going to remove the notability notice. I think in the context of articles on UoM it makes sense to have an article on each faculty. Billlion (talk) 11:27, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Renaming

[edit]

As of April 2016 this became the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Should we change the name of this article? Billlion (talk) 20:53, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
