Implausible citation

[edit]

The intro refers to "a pamphlet" published in 1738 re. labor theory of value, but give no citation. I added "citation needed", then went to look for it -- I could not find any trace of such a pamphlet or article. The nearest I could find was Daniele Bernoulli, "Specimen Theoriae Novae de Mensura Sortis" (https://archive.org/details/SpecimenTheoriaeNovaeDeMensuraSortis), but it's not clear that's what someone intended. Recommend deleting this reference entirely unless someone can find the/a relevant source. Caveat: I am not an economist. Perhaps the reference is obvious to an actual economist -- if you are that economist, please add a specific citation.

Sounds bogus. Let's just delete it and let the original author improve it if they ever revisit it Palehose5 (talk) 02:15, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
