Syntax question

[edit]
It is part of a nearly continuous chain of settlements along the islands of South Tarawa, which are linked by causeways, in the same islet of Bonriki.

What does that last part mean? Is Bonriki an islet that is also linked by a causeway? Or is Bonriki the next island (islet) in the chain? – AndyFielding (talk) 21:33, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's me again. I consulted a map, and apparently Temwaiku and Bonriki are settlements on the same island. I don't see this island referred to by name, so perhaps this group of islands is referred to as South Terawa? If someone will explain, I'll be glad to suggest a description. – AndyFielding (talk) 21:38, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
