Any reviewer with .com in its name was probably not around to review the album when it came out in 1968. This is confusingly written to suggest that these reviews were contemporary with the album. The 21 August 1968 release date cited seemed suspiciously late to me and indeed is disproven by checking back issues of Billboard: Tell Mama is listed as a new album release in the 17 February 1968 issue of that magazine - and also that week's Cash Box - and the album would debut on the Top LP's chart in the Billboard issue dated 9 March 1968.--Cherrylimerickey (talk) 21:23, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
