Never Smiles?

[edit]

Is this a quote or what? He's seen smiling on two of the covers of the comics. 66.28.71.162 (talk) 19:10, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I got that from No Fact Zone's interview with Scott Chantler, linked in the footnote. One of the first pieces of advice Stephen gave him was that Tek doesn't smile, because even though he might be funny to us, he has no sense of humour about himself. I know there's an early piece of artwork that shows Tek smiling, but that was turned down by Colbert's people because it was too light-hearted and cartoony and they were interested in a more serious, dramatic style. He also laughs in the second episode. I included the reference. 24.202.251.225 (talk) 19:03, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shatner's TekWars

[edit]

From what I just learned from reading the discussion section to the wiki entry on William Shatner there is an ongoing lawsuit between Shatner and Colbert over the use of the word "tek". If anyone has any info on this scandel it would be helpful, otherwise I might footnote the Shatner discussion entry as a credible source for this article. I couldn't find the discussion in question, but for a source to be considered credible it generally has to have been published by an external body. I did a a quick search on Google News and found no results linking TekWars/Shatner and Tek Jansen/Colbert. I can't imagine there's any truth in it, but in any case it shouldn't be included in the article until somebody can find a solid external news source to back it up. -Shoemoney2night (talk) 09:40, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agent Michael Scarn

Agent Michael Scarn would kick Tek Jansen's ass in a heartbeat. Just sayin' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.203.130.138 (talk) 22:47, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
