Other uses of term

It seems to me that, in addition to the word's regular meaning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada uses the term sobor to mean a large church serving a wide area that is not a cathedral. For example in Alberta they have St. John Cathedral and St. Andrew "Sobor" (both in Edmonton) and in Saskatchewan they have Holy Trinity Cathedral in Saskatoon and Descent Of The Holy Spirit "Sobor" in Regina (see: http://www.uocc.ca/en-ca/parishes/search.asp). Sobor, Hungary ?

@ShelfSkewed Hungarian is not a Slavic language (or even an Indo-European language) so is Sobor, Hungary an example of "a word in Slavic languages"? Looking in an on-language dictionary, there is a Hungarian word "sobor" which means "statue".
