Split Development into two sections?

[edit]

I think that the "Development" section should be split into two sections, "History", for the parts about Felicia Hardy's planned appearance in Spider-Man 4 and the planned female oriented spin-off to Amazing Spider-Man 2, and "Development", for the parts about the Sony's Marvel Universe film. I understand what you are saying here, but because one of those two sections would only be a single short paragraph I do not think it justifies the subheadings. It is essentially like that at the moment just without the explicit labels. - adamstom97 (talk) 03:51, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
My suggested "History" section would include the second paragraph of "Development", which is quite long and talks about Sony's planned spin-off of the Amazing Spider-Man 2. ARZ100 (talk) 03:58, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, there would only be a single paragraph for the development section, which is just the opposite of what I was saying before. - adamstom97 (talk) 04:45, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, that's true. ARZ100 (talk) 15:43, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a page on this?

[edit]

Multiple other films dont have pages even though they didnt enter production yet even though this film didnt even film anything it has an article. Explain? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bearbro123 (talkcontribs) 16:36, 18 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The development history of this film is much more detailed than for other films. Some development histories can simply exist as a section in another article, like at The Winter of Frankie Machine, while this particular history is too detailed to merge to the broader article.
