Redundant info?

[edit]

this article simply reprints most of the 'First Battle of Heligoland Bight ' article. Is there much point to this? David.j.james 12:47, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrote parts of it to focus on SMS Mainz as such.Cosal 16:37, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect sinking image date

[edit]

Incorrect date: The creation date is listed as 28 April; SMS Mainz sank on 28 August. Is this rectifiable? —TheRevisionary (talk) 09:20, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, but you have to do it on Commons, since the image is hosted there. Parsecboy (talk) 09:22, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I hadn't noticed it was protected - it's because the image is on the main page today. It should come off tonight and we should be able to fix it tomorrow (or you could track down an admin on Commons to fix it). Parsecboy (talk) 13:26, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@TheRevisionary: - just to let you know, I fixed the caption on the file page. Good catch finding it! Parsecboy (talk) 14:11, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not at all, I merely read the image details and relayed it, but thanks anyhow. TheRevisionary (talk) 15:08, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
