Opening heading
[edit]What i wonder is the origin of the term "Procurator" and why "fiscal" - where there procurators of non fiscal legal activities? Tim bates 11:49, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Capitalisation
[edit]I am interested to know whether it really is meant to be written as "Procurator Fiscal", rather than "procurator fiscal". The Baroness of Morden (talk) 12:45, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
The website seems to imply, as an official job title, capital letters are the order of the day! I think also mention should be made, that everyone refers to it as "ProcFisc"! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.56.99.45 (talk) 08:34, 3 February 2008 (UTC)

Procurator Fiscal → Procurator fiscal –
It's downcased in the article text. Per WP:MOSCAPS ("Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization") and WP:TITLE, this is a generic, common term, not a propriety or commercial term, so the article title should be downcased. Lowercase will match the formatting of related article titles. Tony (talk) 09:25, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
